'Cuts' in the Bible
for what [is the] hope of [the] godless when he cuts [them] off, when God takes away his life?
He cuts out tunnels in the rocks, and his eye sees every treasure.
[He] makes wars cease to the ends of the earth; he breaks [the] bow and cuts off [the] spear. [The] wagons [of war] he burns with fire.
He cuts off [the] spirit of leaders. [He is to be] feared by [the] kings of [the] earth.

For before [the] harvest, {when the blossom is complete} and a blossom becomes ripening fruit, and one cuts off the shoots with pruning hooks, and one removes, tears away the tendrils.
