'Dark' in the Bible

Even when I walk in a dark valley, I fear no evil because you [are] with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me

Let their way be dark and slippery, with the angel of Yahweh pursuing them.

Let their eyes be dark so they cannot see, and make their loins continually tremble.

Have regard for the covenant, because [the] dark places of [the] land are full of [the] haunts of violence.

You have set me in [the] pit below, in dark places, in [the] depths.

He sent darkness and made [it] dark, and they did not rebel against his words.

even [the] darkness is not too dark for you, and [the] night shines as the day-- the darkness [and] the light are alike [for you].

For [the] enemy has pursued my soul; he has crushed my life to the ground. He has made me dwell in dark places like [those] long dead.
