'Dominion' in the Bible
You made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet,
Also keep back Your servant from presumptuous (deliberate, willful) sins;Let them not rule and have control over me.Then I will be blameless (complete),And I shall be acquitted of great transgression.
Like sheep they are appointed for Sheol (the nether world, the place of the dead);Death will be their shepherd; And the upright shall rule over them in the morning,And their form and beauty shall be for Sheol to consume,So that they have no dwelling [on earth].
May he also rule from sea to seaAnd from the River [Euphrates] to the ends of the earth.
Bless the Lord, all you works of His, in all places of His dominion;Bless and affectionately praise the Lord, O my soul!
Establish my footsteps in [the way of] Your word;Do not let any human weakness have power over me [causing me to be separated from You].
Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,And Your dominion endures throughout all generations.
