The Lord is not late concerning his promise, as some count lateness, but is patient with us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
and I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing. And I will bless those that bless thee and curse those that curse thee, and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did with Sarah as he had spoken. For Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age at the set time of which God had spoken to him.

And it was in the heart of David, my father, to build a house for the name of the LORD God of Israel. For all the promises of God are yes in him, and in him Amen, by us for the glory of God. Now he who confirms us with you unto Christ and has anointed us is God; who has also sealed us and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
who was faithful to him that appointed him over all his house, as also Moses was faithful. For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who has built the house has more honour than the house. For every house is built by someone, but he that created all things is God.read more.

Therefore, let those that are afflicted according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls unto him as unto a faithful Creator, doing good.
O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee; I will praise thy name for thou hast done wonders, the counsels of old, the truth unchanging.
Hear my prayer, O LORD; give ear to my supplications for the sake of thy truth; answer me for the sake of thy righteousness.
Thy mercy, O LORD, reaches unto the heavens, and thy truth reaches unto the clouds.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
