'Drink' in the Bible

They eat the bread of wickednessand drink the wine of violence.

Drink water from your own cistern,water flowing from your own well.

Come, let’s drink deeply of lovemaking until morning.Let’s feast on each other’s love!

“Come, eat my bread,and drink the wine I have mixed.

A generous person will be enriched,and the one who gives a drink of waterwill receive water.

for it’s like someone calculating inwardly.“Eat and drink,” he says to you,but his heart is not with you.

Don’t associate with those who drink too much wineor with those who gorge themselves on meat.

“They struck me, but I feel no pain!They beat me, but I didn’t know it!When will I wake up?I’ll look for another drink.” >

If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat,and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink;

It is not for kings, Lemuel,it is not for kings to drink wineor for rulers to desire beer.

Otherwise, they will drink,forget what is decreed,and pervert justice for all the oppressed.

Let him drink so that he can forget his povertyand remember his trouble no more.
