But when the master of the feast tasted the water that had been made wine, not knowing whence it was, but the servants who drew the water knew, he called the bridegroom and said to him, Every man setteth on the good wine first, and when men have drunk freely, that which is worse. Thou hast kept the good wine until now. This beginning of the signs Jesus made in Cana of Galilee, and manifested his glory; and his disciples believed in him.
Let us walk becomingly, as in the day; not in reveling and drunkenness, not in lewdness and wantonness, not in strife and envy;
For a bishop must be without reproach, as Gods steward; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, not a striker, not greedy of base gain,
that aged women likewise be in behavior as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not enslaved to much wine, teachers of what is good,
Nor do men put new wine into old skins; else the skins burst, and the wine runneth out, and the skins are spoilt. But they put new wine into new skins, and both are preserved together.

Whether therefore ye eat or drink, or whatever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

But take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be weighed down with surfeiting and drunkenness and worldly cares, and that day come upon you unawares.
The Son of man came eating and drinking; and they say, Behold, a glutton and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners! But wisdom is justified by her works.

but clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and think not about satisfying the lusts of the flesh.
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not profitable; all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of anything.
and be not conformed to the fashion of this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that ye may learn by experience what is the will of God, what is good, and wellpleasing, and perfect.
