'Dwelling' in the Bible

O send out Your light and Your truth, let them lead me;Let them bring me to Your holy hillAnd to Your dwelling places.

Like sheep they are appointed for Sheol (the nether world, the place of the dead);Death will be their shepherd;And the upright shall rule over them in the morning,And their form and beauty shall be for Sheol to consume,So that they have no dwelling [on earth].

Rebuke the beasts [living] among the reeds [in Egypt],The herd of bulls (the leaders) with the calves of the peoples;Trampling underfoot the pieces of silver;He has scattered the peoples who delight in war.

For they have devoured JacobAnd made his pasture desolate.

Too long my soul has had its dwellingWith those who hate peace.
