'Eternal' in the Bible

And if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut it off and cast it from thee; it is good for thee to enter into life lame or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into eternal fire.

And lo, one coming up said to him, Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have life eternal?

And every one who has left houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and shall inherit life eternal.

Then shall he say also to those on the left, Go from me, cursed, into eternal fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

And these shall go away into eternal punishment, and the righteous into life eternal.
