'Eyes' in the Bible

Come to me, all you who go by! Keep your eyes on me, and see if there is any pain like the pain of my wound, which the Lord has sent on me in the day of his burning wrath.

ע AyinI weep because of these things;my eyes flow with tears.For there is no one nearby to comfort me,no one to keep me alive.My children are desolatebecause the enemy has prevailed.

Mine eyes do fail with tears, my bowels are troubled, my liver is poured upon the earth, for the destruction of the daughter of my people; because the children and the sucklings swoon in the streets of the city.

צ TsadeThe hearts of the people cry out to the Lord.Wall of Daughter Zion,let your tears run down like a riverday and night.Give yourself no reliefand your eyes no rest.

My eyes flow with streams of tearsbecause of the destruction of my dear people.

ע AyinMy eyes overflow unceasingly,without end,

My eyes bring me griefbecause of the fate of all the women in my city.

As for us, our eyes as yet failed for our vain help: in our watching we have watched for a nation that could not save us.

For this our heart is faint; for these things our eyes are dim.
