'Fall' in the Bible

All of them are as hot as an oven,and they consume their rulers.All their kings fall;not one of them calls on Me.

They turn, but not to what is above;they are like a faulty bow.Their leaders will fall by the swordbecause of the cursing of their tongue.They will be ridiculed for this in the land of Egypt.

The high places of Aven, the sin of Israel,will be destroyed;thorns and thistles will grow over their altars.They will say to the mountains, “Cover us!”and to the hills, “Fall on us!”

Samaria will bear her guiltbecause she has rebelled against her God.They will fall by the sword;their little ones will be dashed to pieces,and their pregnant women ripped open.
