'Forever' in the Bible
“You will not be united with them in burial,Because you have ruined your country,You have slain your people.May the offspring of evildoers not be mentioned forever.
“Trust in the Lord forever,For in God the Lord, we have an everlasting Rock.
Grain for bread is crushed,Indeed, he does not continue to thresh it forever.Because the wheel of his cart and his horses eventually damage it,He does not thresh it longer.
Now go, write it on a tablet before themAnd inscribe it on a scroll,That it may serve in the time to comeAs a witness forever.
Because the palace has been abandoned, the populated city forsaken.Hill and watch-tower have become caves forever,A delight for wild donkeys, a pasture for flocks;
And the work of righteousness will be peace,And the service of righteousness, quietness and confidence forever.

He has cast the lot for them,And His hand has divided it to them by line.They shall possess it forever;From generation to generation they will dwell in it.
The grass withers, the flower fades,But the word of our God stands forever.
“Yet you said, ‘I will be a queen forever.’These things you did not considerNor remember the outcome of them.
“Lift up your eyes to the sky,Then look to the earth beneath;For the sky will vanish like smoke,And the earth will wear out like a garmentAnd its inhabitants will die in like manner;But My salvation will be forever,And My righteousness will not wane.
“For the moth will eat them like a garment,And the grub will eat them like wool.But My righteousness will be forever,And My salvation to all generations.”
For thus says the high and exalted OneWho lives forever, whose name is Holy,“I dwell on a high and holy place,And also with the contrite and lowly of spiritIn order to revive the spirit of the lowlyAnd to revive the heart of the contrite.
“For I will not contend forever,Nor will I always be angry;For the spirit would grow faint before Me,And the breath of those whom I have made.
“As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the Lord: “My Spirit which is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your offspring, nor from the mouth of your offspring’s offspring,” says the Lord, “from now and forever.”
“Then all your people will be righteous;They will possess the land forever,The branch of My planting,The work of My hands,That I may be glorified.
Do not be angry beyond measure, O Lord,Nor remember iniquity forever;Behold, look now, all of us are Your people.
“But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create;For behold, I create Jerusalem for rejoicingAnd her people for gladness.
