'Gold' in the Bible

"Woe to you, blind guides, who say, 'Whoever swears by the temple is bound by nothing. But whoever swears by the gold of the temple is bound by the oath.'

So since we are God's offspring, we should not think the deity is like gold or silver or stone, an image made by human skill and imagination.

If anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw,
