'Object' in the Bible

ח KhetJerusalem has sinned grievously;therefore, she has become an object of scorn.All who honored her now despise her,for they have seen her nakedness.She herself groans and turns away.

Zion stretches out her hands,But there is no comforter for her.The Lord has commanded concerning JacobThat his neighbors should be his enemies;Jerusalem has become a filthy thing [an object of contempt] among them.

I have become a laughingstock to all my people, the object of their taunts throughout the day.

Watch them from morning to evening; I am the object of their mocking songs.
