Then He told them many things in parables, saying: “Consider the sower who went out to sow.

For this reason I speak to them in parables, because looking they do not see, and hearing they do not listen or understand.
Jesus told the crowds all these things in parables, and He would not speak anything to them without a parable,
so that what was spoken through the prophet might be fulfilled:I will open My mouth in parables;I will declare things kept secretfrom the foundation of the world.
When Jesus had finished these parables, He left there.
When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard His parables, they knew He was speaking about them.
Once more Jesus spoke to them in parables:
So He summoned them and spoke to them in parables: “How can Satan drive out Satan?
He taught them many things in parables, and in His teaching He said to them:
When He was alone with the Twelve, those who were around Him asked Him about the parables.

Then He said to them: “Don’t you understand this parable? How then will you understand any of the parables?
He would speak the word to them with many parables like these, as they were able to understand.
Then He began to speak to them in parables: “A man planted a vineyard, put a fence around it, dug out a pit for a winepress, and built a watchtower. Then he leased it to tenant farmers and went away.
So He said, “The secrets of the kingdom of God have been given for you to know, but to the rest it is in parables, so thatLooking they may not see,and hearing they may not understand.
