'Pay' in the Bible

Have I ever said: “Give me something”or “Pay a bribe for me from your wealth”

Like a slave he longs for shade;like a hired man he waits for his pay.

What is man, that You think so highly of himand pay so much attention to him?

For ask the previous generation,and pay attention to what their fathers discovered,

If I summoned Him and He answered me,I do not believe He would pay attention to what I said.

"Now listen to my dispute! Pay attention to my arguments.

Pay close attention to my words;let my declaration ring in your ears.

Pay close attention to my words;let this be the consolation you offer.

“Will you keep to the ancient pathThat wicked men walked [in the time of Noah],

Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows.

Would He prosecute me forcefully?No, He will certainly pay attention to me.

“From the city men groan,And the souls of the wounded cry out;Yet God does not pay attention to folly.

But now, Job, pay attention to my speech,and listen to all my words.

Pay attention, Job, and listen to me.Be quiet, and I will speak.

"Listen to what I have to say, you wise men! Pay attention to me, you educated people!

“For God pays a man according to his work,And He will make every man find [appropriate] compensation according to his way.

If you have understanding, listen to this! Pay attention to what I have to say:

because they turned aside from following him, and wouldn't pay attention to any of his ways,

Theirs is a useless plea God won't listen; the Almighty won't pay any attention.

But now, because God’s anger does not punishand He does not pay attention to transgression,

"Pay attention to this, Job! Stand still, and consider the wondrous attributes of God.

You said, 'Pay attention, and I will speak; I will question you, and you will answer me.'
