'Reads' in the Bible

which is why the Book of the Wars of the LORD reads, "Waheb and Suphah and the wadis of the Arnon,

The king called out to bring in the mediums, Chaldeans, and astrologers. He said to these wise men of Babylon, “Whoever reads this inscription and gives me its interpretation will be clothed in purple, have a gold chain around his neck, and have the third highest position in the kingdom.”

Then the Lord answered me and said,“Record the visionAnd inscribe it on tablets,That the one who reads it may run.

When therefore ye shall see the abomination of desolation, which is spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in what is a holy place, (he that reads let him understand,)

But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation standing where it should not, (he that reads let him consider it,) then let those in Judaea flee to the mountains;

The one who reads this is blessed, and those who hear the words of this prophecy and keep what is written in it are blessed, because the time is near!
