'Rich' in the Bible
He has filled those who are hungry with good [things], and those who are rich he has sent away empty-handed.
"But woe to you who are rich, because you have received your comfort.
And he told a parable to them, saying, "The land of a certain rich man yielded an abundant harvest.
So [is] the one who stores up treasure for himself, and who is not rich toward God!"
And he also said to the disciples, "A certain man was rich, who had a manager. And charges were brought to him that this person was squandering his possessions.
"Now a certain man was rich, and dressed [in] purple cloth and fine linen, feasting sumptuously every day.
and was longing to be filled with what fell from the table of the rich man. But even the dogs came [and] licked his sores.
Now it happened that the poor man died, and he was carried away by the angels to {Abraham's side}. And the rich man also died and was buried.
For it is easier [for] a camel to go through the eye of a needle than [for] a rich person to enter into the kingdom of God.
And {there was} a man {named} Zacchaeus, and he was a chief tax collector, and he [was] rich.
And he looked up [and] saw the rich putting their gifts into the contribution box,
