'Ruins' in the Bible

And this house will become a heap of ruins; everyone who passes by will be astonished and hiss and say, ‘Why has the Lord done thus to this land and to this house?’

In the cities of Manasseh, Ephraim, Simeon, even as far as Naphtali, in their surrounding ruins,

For we are slaves; yet in our bondage our God has not forsaken us, but has extended lovingkindness to us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to give us reviving to raise up the house of our God, to restore its ruins and to give us a wall in Judah and Jerusalem.

With kings and with counselors of the earth,Who rebuilt ruins for themselves;

Desolation is left in the cityAnd the gate is battered to ruins.
