'Saved' in the Bible
So he said, “Isn’t he rightly named Jacob? For he has cheated me twice now. He took my birthright, and look, now he has taken my blessing.” Then he asked, “Haven’t you saved a blessing for me?”
And they said, “You have saved our lives. We have found favor in our lord’s eyes and will be Pharaoh’s slaves.”
That day the Lord saved Israel from the power of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the seashore.
How happy you are, Israel!Who is like you,a people saved by the Lord?He is the shield that protects you,the sword you boast in.Your enemies will cringe before you,and you will tread on their backs.

Since he heard the sound of the trumpet but ignored the warning, his blood is on his own hands. If he had taken warning, he would have saved his life.
But if you warn a wicked person to turn from his way and he doesn’t turn from it, he will die for his iniquity, but you will have saved your life.
Then everyone who callson the name of Yahweh will be saved,for there will be an escapefor those on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem,as the Lord promised,among the survivors the Lord calls.
