'Thirsty' in the Bible
"How blessed are those who are hungry and thirsty for righteousness, because it is they who will be satisfied!
because I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger, and you welcomed me.
"Then the righteous will say to him, "Lord, when did we see you hungry and give you something to eat, or thirsty and give you something to drink?
Here's why: I was hungry, and you gave me nothing to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me nothing to drink.
"Then they will reply, "Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or as a stranger or naked or sick or in prison and didn't help you?'
Jesus answered her, "Everyone who drinks this water will become thirsty again.
But whoever drinks the water that I will give him will never become thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become a well of water for him, springing up to eternal life."
The woman told him, "Sir, give me this water, so that I won't get thirsty or have to keep coming here to draw water."
Jesus told them, "I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never become hungry, and whoever believes in me will never become thirsty.
On the last and most important day of the festival, Jesus stood up and shouted, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink!
After this, when Jesus realized that everything was now completed, he said (in order to fulfill the Scripture), "I'm thirsty."
But "if your enemy is hungry, feed him. For if he is thirsty, give him a drink. If you do this, you will pile burning coals on his head."
We are hungry, thirsty, dressed in rags, brutally treated, and homeless, right up to the present.
They will never be hungry or thirsty again. Neither the sun nor its heat will ever beat down on them,
Then he told me, "It has happened! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will freely give a drink from the spring of the water of life to the one who is thirsty.
The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" Let everyone who hears this say, "Come!" Let everyone who is thirsty come! Let anyone who wants the water of life take it as a gift!
