'Tombs' in the Bible
"Listen, sir, you are a mighty prince among us! You may bury your dead in the choicest of our tombs. None of us will refuse you his tomb to prevent you from burying your dead."
When Josiah turned around, he saw the tombs there on the hill. So he ordered the bones from the tombs to be brought; he burned them on the altar and defiled it. This fulfilled the Lord's announcement made by the prophet while Jeroboam stood by the altar during a festival. King Josiah turned and saw the grave of the prophet who had foretold this.
Jehoram was thirty-two years old when he became king and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem. No one regretted his death; he was buried in the City of David, but not in the royal tombs.
When they withdrew, they left Joash badly wounded. His servants plotted against him because of what he had done to the son of Jehoiada the priest. They murdered him on his bed. Thus he died and was buried in the City of David, but not in the tombs of the kings.

Hezekiah passed away and was buried on the ascent of the tombs of the descendants of David. All the people of Judah and the residents of Jerusalem buried him with great honor. His son Manasseh replaced him as king.
He ordered the altars of the Baals to be torn down, and broke the incense altars that were above them. He smashed the Asherah poles, idols and images, crushed them up and sprinkled the dust over the tombs of those who had sacrificed to them.
So his servants took him out of the chariot, put him in another chariot that he owned, and brought him to Jerusalem, where he died. He was buried in the tombs of his ancestors; all the people of Judah and Jerusalem mourned Josiah.
Nehemiah son of Azbuk, head of a half-district of Beth Zur, worked after him as far as the tombs of David and the artificial pool and the House of the Warriors.
And when he is carried to the tombs, and watch is kept over the funeral mound,
They sit among the tombs and keep watch all night long. They eat pork, and broth from unclean sacrificial meat is in their pans.

(They came out of the tombs after his resurrection and went into the holy city and appeared to many people.)
Just as Jesus was getting out of the boat, a man with an unclean spirit came from the tombs and met him.
He lived among the tombs, and no one could bind him anymore, not even with a chain.
Each night and every day among the tombs and in the mountains, he would cry out and cut himself with stones.
As Jesus stepped ashore, a certain man from the town met him who was possessed by demons. For a long time this man had worn no clothes and had not lived in a house, but among the tombs.
Woe to you! You build the tombs of the prophets whom your ancestors killed.
So you testify that you approve of the deeds of your ancestors, because they killed the prophets and you build their tombs!
"Do not be amazed at this, because a time is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voice
