'Two' in the Bible
Again the next day John was standing with two of his disciples,
The two disciples heard him say this, and they followed Jesus.
One of the two who heard what John said and [as a result] followed Jesus was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother.
So when the Samaritans came to Jesus, they asked Him to remain with them; and He stayed there two days.
Philip answered, “Two hundred denarii (200 days’ wages) worth of bread is not enough for each one to receive even a little.”
“There is a little boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish; but what are these for so many people?”
But even if I do judge, My judgment is true and My decision is right; for I am not alone [in making it], but I and the Father who sent Me [make the same judgment].
Even in your own law it is written that the testimony of two persons is true [valid and admissible].
I am One [of the Two] who testifies about Myself, and My Father who sent Me testifies about Me.”
So [even] when He heard that Lazarus was sick, He stayed in the same place two more days.
There they crucified Him, and with Him two others, one on either side, and Jesus between them.
and she saw two angels in white sitting there, one at the head and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.
Simon Peter, and Thomas who is called Didymus (the twin), and Nathanael from Cana of Galilee, as well as [John and James] the sons of Zebedee, and two others of His disciples were together.
