'Agreement' in the Bible

Swear to me by God here and now, that you will not break an agreement with me or with my children and descendants. As I have been loyal to you, so you will be loyal to me and to the country where you are a foreign resident.”

In view of all this, we are making a binding agreement in writing on a sealed document containing the names of our leaders, Levites, and priests.

My son, if you have put up security for your neighboror entered into an agreement with a stranger,

One without sense enters an agreementand puts up security for his friend.

What agreement does Christ have with Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?

And what agreement does God’s sanctuary have with idols? For we are the sanctuary of the living God, as God said:I will dwell among themand walk among them,and I will be their God,and they will be My people.

We have also received an inheritance in Him, predestined according to the purpose of the One who works out everything in agreement with the decision of His will,

the Spirit, the water, and the blood—and these three are in agreement.
