'Bore' in the Bible

So Sarah became pregnant and bore Abraham a son in his old age at the appointed time that God had told him.

Abraham named his son -- whom Sarah bore to him -- Isaac.

(Now Bethuel became the father of Rebekah.) These were the eight sons Milcah bore to Abraham's brother Nahor.

His concubine, whose name was Reumah, also bore him children -- Tebah, Gaham, Tahash, and Maacah.

She said to him, "I am the daughter of Bethuel the son of Milcah, whom Milcah bore to Nahor.

He later married Maacah the daughter of Absalom. She bore to him Abijah, Attai, Ziza, and Shelomith.

"'You took your sons and your daughters whom you bore to me and you sacrificed them as food for the idols to eat. As if your prostitution not enough,

For they have committed adultery and blood is on their hands. They have committed adultery with their idols, and their sons, whom they bore to me, they have passed through the fire as food to their idols.

They have committed treason against the Lord, because they bore illegitimate children. Soon the new moon festival will devour them and their fields.
