'Crown' in the Bible
and weaving a crown of thorns, they put [it] on his head, and [put] a reed in his right hand. And kneeling down before him, they mocked him, saying, "Hail, king of the Jews!"
And they put a purple cloak on him, and [after] weaving a crown of thorns they placed [it] on him.
And the soldiers wove a crown of thorns and placed [it] on his head, and put a purple robe on him,
Then Jesus came outside wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe, and he said to them, "Behold the man!"
And everyone who competes exercises self-control in all [things]. Thus those [do so] in order that they may receive a perishable crown, but we an imperishable [one].
So then, my beloved and greatly desired brothers, my joy and crown, thus stand firm in the Lord, dear friends.
For who [is] our hope or joy or crown of boasting? [Is it] not even you, in the presence of our Lord Jesus at his coming?
Finally, the crown of righteousness is reserved for me, that the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me, but also to all who have loved his appearing.
Blessed [is] the person who endures testing, because [when he] is approved he will receive the crown of life that he has promised to those who love him.
And [when] the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.
Do not be afraid of [the things] which you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw [some] of you into prison so that you may be tested, and you will experience affliction ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
I am coming quickly! Hold fast to what you have, so that no one may take away your crown.
And I looked, and behold, a white horse, and the one seated on it had a bow, and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and in order that he might conquer.
And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun and [with] the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars,
And I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud was seated [one] like a son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
