However, Lot strongly urged them, so they turned aside and entered his house; and he prepared a feast for them [with wine], and baked unleavened bread, and they ate.

Then Isaac held a [formal] banquet (covenant feast) for them, and they ate and drank.

Then he washed his face and came out, and, restraining himself, said, “Let the meal be served.”

“So where is he?” he asked his daughters. “Why then did you leave the man behind? Invite him to eat dinner.”

So he took him into his home and fed the donkeys while they refreshed themselves and had dinner.

Jonadab advised him, "Lie down and pretend to be sick. When your father visits you, ask him, "Please let my sister Tamar come and give me something to eat that she prepares especially for me, and after she makes dinner for me, let her feed it to me personally.'"
