'Eye' in the Bible
And if your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw [it] from you! For it is better for you that one of your members be destroyed than your whole body be thrown into hell.
"You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.'
"The eye is the lamp of the body. Therefore if your eye is sincere, your whole body will be full of light.
But if your eye is evil, your whole body will be dark. Therefore if the light in you is darkness, how great [is] the darkness!
And why do you see the speck [that is] in your brother's eye, but do not notice the beam of wood in your [own] eye?
Or how will you say to your brother, 'Allow [me] to remove the speck from your eye,' and behold, the beam of wood [is] in your [own] eye?
Hypocrite! First remove the beam of wood from your [own] eye and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye!
And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw [it] from you! It is better for you to enter into life one-eyed than, having two eyes, to be thrown into fiery hell!
And again I say to you, it is easier [for] a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a rich person into the kingdom of God."

And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out! It is better [for] you to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye than, having two eyes, to be thrown into hell,
It is easier [for] a camel to go through the eye of a needle than [for] a rich person to enter into the kingdom of God."
And why do you see the speck [that is] in your brother's eye, but do not notice the beam of wood [that is] in your own eye?
How are you able to say to your brother, "Brother, allow [me] to remove the speck [that is] in your eye," [while] you yourself do not see the beam of wood in your [own] eye? Hypocrite! First remove the beam of wood from your [own] eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck [that is] in your brother's eye!

For it is easier [for] a camel to go through the eye of a needle than [for] a rich person to enter into the kingdom of God.
But just as it is written, "[Things] which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and have not entered into the heart of man, all that God has prepared for those who love him."
And if the ear should say, "Because I am not an eye, I am not [a part] of the body, not because of this is it not [a part] of the body.
If the whole body [were] an eye, where [would] the hearing [be]? If the whole [were] hearing, where [would] the sense of smell [be]?
