'Heavenly' in the Bible
Be ye therefore perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect.
For if ye forgive men their offences, your heavenly Father also will forgive you yours,
Look at the birds of the heaven, that they sow not, nor reap, nor gather into granaries, and your heavenly Father nourishes them. Are ye not much more excellent than they?
for all these things the nations seek after; for your heavenly Father knows that ye have need of all these things.
But he answering said, Every plant which my heavenly Father has not planted shall be rooted up.
Thus also my heavenly Father shall do to you if ye forgive not from your hearts every one his brother.
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying,
If I have said the earthly things to you, and ye believe not, how, if I say the heavenly things to you, will ye believe?
Whereupon, king Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision;
And there are heavenly bodies, and earthly bodies: but different is the glory of the heavenly, different that of the earthly:
Such as he made of dust, such also those made of dust; and such as the heavenly one, such also the heavenly ones.
And as we have borne the image of the one made of dust, we shall bear also the image of the heavenly one.
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of heavenly and earthly and infernal beings,
The Lord shall deliver me from every wicked work, and shall preserve me for his heavenly kingdom; to whom be glory for the ages of ages. Amen.
Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Jesus,
For it is impossible to renew again to repentance those once enlightened, and who have tasted of the heavenly gift, and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit,
(who serve the representation and shadow of heavenly things, according as Moses was oracularly told when about to make the tabernacle; for See, saith He, that thou make all things according to the pattern which has been shewn to thee in the mountain.)
It was necessary then that the figurative representations of the things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with sacrifices better than these.
but now they seek a better, that is, a heavenly; wherefore God is not ashamed of them, to be called their God; for he has prepared for them a city.
but ye have come to mount Zion; and to the city of the living God, heavenly Jerusalem; and to myriads of angels,
