Have we not all one father? Hath not one God created us? Why do we deal unfaithfully every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?

{A Song of degrees. Of David.} Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

But ye, be not ye called Rabbi; for one is your instructor, and all ye are brethren. And call not any one your father upon the earth; for one is your Father, he who is in the heavens.

The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of the Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of the Christ? Because we, being many, are one loaf, one body; for we all partake of that one loaf.

For to one, by the Spirit, is given the word of wisdom; and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit; and to a different one faith, in the power of the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healing in the power of the same Spirit; and to another operations of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; and to a different one kinds of tongues; and to another interpretation of tongues. But all these things operates the one and the same Spirit, dividing to each in particular according as he pleases.

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.

and let us consider one another for provoking to love and good works; not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the custom is with some; but encouraging one another, and by so much the more as ye see the day drawing near.

(and our hope for you is sure;) or whether we are encouraged, it is for your encouragement and salvation: knowing that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so also of the encouragement.

But ye have done well in taking part in my affliction.

Finally, be all of one mind, sympathising, full of brotherly love, tender hearted, humble minded;

Have the same respect one for another, not minding high things, but going along with the lowly: be not wise in your own eyes:

for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Let no one seek his own advantage, but that of the other.

Wherefore, having put off falsehood, speak truth every one with his neighbour, because we are members one of another.

I exhort Euodia, and exhort Syntyche, to be of the same mind in the Lord;

giving thanks to the Father, who has made us fit for sharing the portion of the saints in light, who has delivered us from the authority of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of his love: in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins;

And let the peace of Christ preside in your hearts, to which also ye have been called in one body, and be thankful.

But we built the wall; and all the wall was joined together to the half thereof; for the people had a mind to work.

Again I say to you, that if two of you shall agree on the earth concerning any matter, whatsoever it may be that they shall ask, it shall come to them from my Father who is in the heavens. For where two or three are gathered together unto my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Now I exhort you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all say the same thing, and that there be not among you divisions; but that ye be perfectly united in the same mind and in the same opinion.
