'Horn' in the Bible

The Lord is my rock,my fortress, and my deliverer,my God, my mountain where I seek refuge,my shield and the horn of my salvation,my stronghold.

I say to the boastful, ‘Do not boast,’and to the wicked, ‘Do not lift up your horn.

Do not lift up your horn against heavenor speak arrogantly.’”

Blow the horn on the day of our feastsduring the new moonand during the full moon.

For You are their magnificent strength;by Your favor our horn is exalted.

My faithfulness and love will be with him,and through My namehis horn will be exalted.

You have lifted up my hornlike that of a wild ox;I have been anointed with oil.

With trumpets and the blast of the ram’s hornshout triumphantlyin the presence of the Lord, our King.

He distributes freely to the poor;his righteousness endures forever.His horn will be exalted in honor.

There I will make a horn grow for David;I have prepared a lamp for My anointed one.

He has raised up a horn for His people,resulting in praise to all His godly ones,to the Israelites, the people close to Him.Hallelujah!
