And I and my father are one."

Believest thou not that I am in the father, and the father in me? The words that I speak unto you, I speak not of myself: but the father that dwelleth in me is he that doeth the works. Believe me, that I am in the father, and the father in me. At the least believe me for the very works' sake.

that they all may be one, as thou father art in me, and I in thee; that they may be also one in us, that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

This is life eternal: that they might know thee, that only very God, and whom thou hast sent, Jesus Christ.
