'Lands' in the Bible
Of these were the isles of the nations divided in their lands, every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.
These are the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, in their nations.
These are the sons of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their nations.
Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee. For unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these lands, and I will establish the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father.
And I will multiply thy seed as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these lands. And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed.

Their inward thought is, that their houses'shall continue for ever, And their dwelling-places to all generations; They call their lands after their own names.
And he gave them the lands of the nations; And they took the labor of the peoples in possession:
And that he would overthrow their seed among the nations, And scatter them in the lands.
And gathered out of the lands, From the east and from the west, From the north and from the south.

For neither was there among them any that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,
Now in the neighborhood of that place were lands belonging to the chief man of the island, named Publius, who received us, and entertained us three days courteously.
