'Needy' in the Bible

My very bones will say,“Lord, who is like You,rescuing the poor from one too strong for him,the poor or the needy from one who robs him?”

The wicked have drawn the sword and strung the bowto bring down the afflicted and needyand to slaughter those whose way is upright.

I am afflicted and needy;the Lord thinks of me.You are my helper and my deliverer;my God, do not delay.

But He lifts the needy out of their sufferingand makes their families multiply like flocks.

He raises the poor from the dustand lifts the needy from the garbage pile

I will abundantly bless its food;I will satisfy its needy with bread.

I know that the Lord upholdsthe just cause of the poor,justice for the needy.
