'Off' in the Bible

A wise person is cautious and turns from evil, but a fool throws off restraint and is overconfident.

When you gaze upon riches, they are gone, for they surely make wings for themselves, and fly off into the sky like an eagle!

Like one who takes off a garment on a cold day, or like vinegar poured on soda, so is one who sings songs to a heavy heart.

Like cutting off the feet or drinking violence, so is sending a message by the hand of a fool.

When there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint, but the one who keeps the law, blessed is he!
