'Shine' in the Bible

The Lord make His face shine on you,And be gracious to you;

“May that day be darkness;Let not God above care for it,Nor light shine on it.

Who commands the sun not to shine,And sets a seal upon the stars;

“You will also decree a thing, and it will be established for you;And light will shine on your ways.

“Do you know how God establishes them,And makes the lightning of His cloud to shine?

“Behind him he makes a wake to shine;One would think the deep to be gray-haired.

Make Your face to shine upon Your servant;Save me in Your lovingkindness.

“His enemies I will clothe with shame,But upon himself his crown shall shine.”

The people who walk in darknessWill see a great light;Those who live in a dark land,The light will shine on them.

For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

For this reason it says,“Awake, sleeper,And arise from the dead,And Christ will shine on you.”

The fourth angel sounded, and a third of the sun and a third of the moon and a third of the stars were struck, so that a third of them would be darkened and the day would not shine for a third of it, and the night in the same way.

and the light of a lamp will not shine in you any longer; and the voice of the bridegroom and bride will not be heard in you any longer; for your merchants were the great men of the earth, because all the nations were deceived by your sorcery.

And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God has illumined it, and its lamp is the Lamb.
