'Stay' in the Bible

"Let me pass through your territory. I'll stay on the main road. I won't turn to the right or left.

Only your wives and your little children and your livestock (I know that {you have much livestock}) must stay in your towns that I have given you,

Someone could flee there who committed manslaughter, killing his neighbor accidentally without previously hating him. He could flee to one of these cities and stay alive:

discard the clothing she was wearing when captured, and stay in your house, lamenting for her father and mother for a full month. After that you may have sexual relations with her and become her husband and she your wife.

If the owner does not live near you or you do not know who the owner is, then you must corral the animal at your house and let it stay with you until the owner looks for it; then you must return it to him.

If someone among you becomes unclean due to nocturnal emissions, he must leave the camp and stay outside.

“When a man takes a bride, he must not go out with the army or be liable for any duty. He is free to stay at home for one year, so that he can bring joy to the wife he has married.

Stay outside and let the man to whom you made the loan bring it out to you.
