'Wrappings' in the Bible

They are thy merchants for perfect things, For wrappings of blue, and embroidery, And for treasuries of rich apparel, With cords bound and girded, for thy merchandise,

But Peter got up and ran to the tomb; stooping and looking in, he *saw the linen wrappings only; and he went away to his home, marveling at what had happened.

The man who had died came forth, bound hand and foot with wrappings, and his face was wrapped around with a cloth. Jesus *said to them, “Unbind him, and let him go.”

So they took the body of Jesus and bound it in linen wrappings with the spices, as is the burial custom of the Jews.

and stooping and looking in, he *saw the linen wrappings lying there; but he did not go in.

And so Simon Peter also *came, following him, and entered the tomb; and he *saw the linen wrappings lying there,

and the face-cloth which had been on His head, not lying with the linen wrappings, but rolled up in a place by itself.
