'For This Cause' in the Bible
And He said: "For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and cleave to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh."
"For this cause shall a man leave his father and his mother;
And he said, For this cause I have told you, that no one can come to me, unless it hath been given him from the Father.
He that is of God heareth Gods words; for this cause ye do not hear, because ye are not of God.
For this cause also the multitude met him, because they had heard that he had wrought, this sign.
Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour! But for this cause I came to this hour.
For this cause they could not believe, because Isaiah said again,
Every thing that the Father hath is mine. For this cause I said, that he receiveth of what is mine, and will tell it to you.
Pilate therefore said to him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest what is true; for I am a king. For this end have I been born, and for this cause have I come into the world, that I may bear witness to the truth. Every one that is of the truth listeneth to my voice.
Jesus answered, Thou wouldst have no power against me, unless it had been given thee from above; for this cause he that delivered me up to thee hath the greater sin.
For this cause God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women indulged in unnatural lust,
and that the gentiles glorified God for his mercy, as it is written, "For this cause I will give praise to thee among the gentiles, and sing to thy name."
For this cause the woman ought to have a sign of authority on her head, because of the angels.
