And they will speak of the power of your awesome deeds, and I will tell of your greatness.


They will overflow [like a fountain] when they speak of Your great and abundant goodness
And will sing joyfully of Your righteousness.

that thy power, thy glory and mightiness of thy kingdom, might be known unto men.


He has lifted up a horn for His people [giving them strength, prosperity, dignity, and preeminence],
Praise for all His godly ones;
For the people of Israel, a people near to Him.
Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!)

Give him praise for his acts of power: give him praise in the measure of his great strength.

For their feet will run to evil, and they will hasten to pour out blood:

To take you out of the power of the strange woman, who says smooth words with her tongue;


Do this now, my son, and release yourself [from the obligation];
Since you have come into the hand of your neighbor,
Go humble yourself, and plead with your neighbor [to pay his debt and release you].

Through me kings have their power, and rulers give right decisions.

Through me, lords bear rule, and all judges of the earth execute judgment.

My fruit is better than fine gold, yea, than pure gold; and my revenue than choice silver.

The tongue of the righteous is pure silver;
the heart of the wicked is of little value.

A lawless man craveth the prey of the wicked, but, the root of the righteous, is enduring.

There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath nothing: there is that maketh himself poor, yet hath great riches.


A soothing tongue [speaking words that build up and encourage] is a tree of life,
But a perversive tongue [speaking words that overwhelm and depress] crushes the spirit.

All the days of the poor [are] hard, but goodness of heart [is] a continuous feast.


When the wicked man comes [to the depth of evil], contempt [of all that is pure and good] also comes,
And with inner baseness (dishonor) comes outer shame (scorn).


The words of a man’s mouth are like deep waters [copious and difficult to fathom];
The fountain of [mature, godly] wisdom is like a bubbling stream [sparkling, fresh, pure, and life-giving].

Unseemly for dullard, is delicate living, how much more for, a servant, to bear rule over princes.

A man of great wrath shall bear the penalty; For if thou deliver him , thou must do it yet again.

Mercy and good faith keep the king safe, and the seat of his power is based on upright acts.

A false witness shall perish; but he that will be content to hear, shall always have power to speak himself.


For the Lord will plead their case
And take the life of those who rob them.
