And David saith, "Let their table be made a snare to take them withal, and an occasion to fall, and a reward unto them.
But to you Gentiles I say that, since I am an Apostle specially sent to the Gentiles, I take pride in my ministry,
So take a look at the goodness and the severity of God; severity to those who have fallen, but goodness to you, on condition that you continue to live by His goodness; otherwise, you too will be pruned away.
And so [i.e., in this way] all the Israelites will be saved. [Note: The "all" here is thought by many to refer to a large number of the physical Jews who will be saved, not necessarily to every single individual Jew]. Even as it is written [Isa. 59:20-21], "The Deliverer [i.e., Christ] will come from Zion [i.e., the city of Jerusalem, or from the nation of Israel]. He will take away the wickedness from Jacob [i.e., the Jews]."
For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
In virtue of my office, I tell everyone of your number who is self-important, that he is not to think more of himself than he ought to think; he must take a sane view of himself, corresponding to the degree of faith which God has assigned to each.
If it is service, he must serve; if it is teaching, he must teach;

Render to no man evil for evil. Take thought for things honorable in the sight of all men.
