1 Kings 17:22-23
Jehovah listened to the voice of Elijah. The child began to breath and came back to life. Elijah took the child down from his room into the house and gave him to his mother. See, your son is alive. He said.


1 Kings 17:14-16
For this is the word of Jehovah, the God of Israel: 'Your supply of meal will not come to an end. The bottle will never be without oil, till the day when Jehovah sends rain on the earth.' She did as Elijah told her and they all had food for a long time. The store of meal did not come to an end. The bottle was never without oil. This was just as Jehovah said through the mouth of Elijah.


Exodus 14:21-22
Moses stretched out his hand over the sea. Jehovah swept the sea back by a strong east wind all night and turned the sea into dry land. The waters were divided. The Israelites went through the middle of the sea on dry ground. The water stood like a wall on their right and on their left.


Exodus 14:26-28
Jehovah then said to Moses: Hold out your hand over the sea, and the water will flow back over the Egyptians and their chariots and drivers. Moses held out his hand over the sea. At daybreak the water returned to its normal level. The Egyptians tried to escape from the water. But Jehovah threw them into the sea. The water returned and covered the chariots, the drivers, and all the Egyptian army that had followed the Israelites into the sea. None of them were left.


Exodus 17:11-13
As long as Moses held up his hands, Israel would win, but as soon as he put his hands down, the Amalekites would start to win. Finally, Moses was so tired that Aaron and Hur got a rock for him to sit on. They stood beside him and supported his arms in the same position until sunset. That is how Joshua defeated the Amalekites.


Joshua 10:12-14
Joshua spoke to Jehovah the day when Jehovah delivered the Amorites to the children of Israel. He said in sight of Israel: Sun, stand still upon Gibeon; and Moon, stand still in the valley of Ajalon. The sun stood still, and the moon stood still, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is this not written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and did not go down for a whole day. There was no day like that before or after it, that Jehovah listened to the voice of a man: for Jehovah fought for Israel.


2 Kings 1:10-12
If I am a man of God, Elijah answered: Let fire come down from heaven and kill you and your men! At once fire came down and killed the officer and his men. The king sent another officer with fifty men, who went up and said to Elijah: Man of God, the king orders you to come down at once! Since I am a man of God, Elijah answered: let fire come down from heaven and kill you and your men! At once the fire of God came down and killed the officer and his men.


2 Kings 4:32-35
When Elisha arrived he went alone into the room. He saw the boy lying dead on the bed. He closed the door and prayed to Jehovah. Then he lay down on the boy, placing his mouth, eyes, and hands on the boy's mouth, eyes, and hands. As he lay stretched out over the boy, the boy's body started to get warm. read more.
Elisha got up and walked around the room. He returned and again stretched himself over the boy. The boy sneezed seven times and then opened his eyes.


2 Kings 2:21-22
and he went to the spring, threw the salt in the water, and said: This is what Jehovah says: 'I make this water pure. It will not cause any more deaths or miscarriages.' That water has been pure ever since, just as Elisha said it would be.


1 Samuel 12:18
Samuel prayed. That same day Jehovah sent thunder and rain. Then all the people became afraid of Jehovah and of Samuel.

Every man stood in his place around the camp. The army ran, and cried, and fled. The three hundred blew the trumpets. Jehovah set every man's sword against his companions. They turned on each other throughout all the army. The army fled to Beth-shittah in Zererath, and to the border of Abel-meholah, to Tabbath.


Numbers 21:8-9
Jehovah said to Moses: Make a snake and put it on a pole. Anyone who is bitten can look at it and live. Moses made a copper snake and put it on a pole. People looked at the copper snake after they were bitten and lived.


Exodus 9:10-11
They got some ashes and stood before the king. Moses threw them into the air. They produced boils that became open sores on the people and the animals. The magicians were not able to appear before Moses, because they were covered with boils, like all the other Egyptians.


Exodus 8:21-24
I warn you that if you refuse, I will punish you by sending flies on you, your officials, and your people. The houses of the Egyptians will be full of flies. The ground will be covered with them. At that same time I will cut off the land of Goshen where my people live. No swarms of flies shall be there. / Then you will know that I am Jehovah in the midst of the earth. I will put a dividing line between my people and your people. This sign will happen tomorrow.' read more.
Jehovah did what he said. Dense swarms of flies came into Pharaoh's palace and into the houses of his officials. All over Egypt the flies ruined everything.


Joshua 3:10-17
Joshua said: By this you shall know the living God is among you, and that he will without fail drive out from before you the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Hivites, and the Perizzites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Jebusites. The Ark of the Covenant of Jehovah the God of all the earth passed over before you into Jordan. Take twelve men out of the tribes of Israel. read more.
As soon as the soles of the feet of the priests that bear the Ark of Jehovah, the Lord of all the earth, set foot in the Jordan the waters of Jordan shall be cut off and they shall stand in a heap. When the people set out from their camp to cross the Jordan, and the priests bearing the Ark of the Covenant before the people and As they carried the ark into the Jordan and the feet of the priests dipped into the water, for Jordan is at food stage at the time of harvest. The waters stood and rose up upon a heap very far from the city Adam that is beside Zaretan. The waters that came down toward the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, failed, and were cut off. The people passed over the Jericho. The priests carrying the Ark of the Covenant of Jehovah stood firm on dry ground in the middle of the Jordan River. All the Israelites passed over the Jordan River on dry ground.


Numbers 20:11
Moses raised his hand and hit the rock twice with the staff. Water came pouring out! All the people and their animals drank.

The widow of a member of a group of prophets said to Elisha: My husband has died! As you know, he was a man who respected God. A man to whom he owed money came to take away my two sons as slaves in payment for my husband's debt. Elisha said: Tell me what shall I do for you? What do you have at home? She answered: Except for a small jar of olive oil, I have nothing. Ask your neighbors for empty jars. Borrow as many as you can, Elisha told her. read more.
You and your sons go into the house and shut the door behind you. Pour oil into the jars. Set each one aside as soon as it is full. The woman went into her house with her sons. They closed the door and took the small jar of olive oil, and poured oil into the jars as her sons brought them to her. When the jars were full she asked if there were any more. That was the last one, one of her sons told her. So the olive oil stopped flowing. She returned to Elisha, the prophet. He said: Sell the olive oil and pay all your debts. There will be enough money left over for you and your sons to pay your living expenses.


Joshua 6:6-20
Joshua the son of Nun called the priests, and said to them: Take up the Ark of the Covenant. Seven priests should carry seven trumpets of rams' horns before the Ark of Jehovah. He said to the people: Pass on, and circle the city, and let him that is armed pass on before the Ark of Jehovah. As soon as Joshua spoke to the people the seven priests carrying the seven trumpets of rams' horns passed before Jehovah. They blew the trumpets and the Ark of the Covenant of Jehovah followed them. read more.
The armed men marched ahead of the priests that blew the trumpets, and the rear guard followed the Ark. All the time the priests kept blowing the trumpets. Joshua commanded the people, saying: You will not shout, nor make any noise with your voice, neither will any word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you shout. Then you will shout. So the Ark of Jehovah went around the city one time. They came to the camp, and stayed in the camp. Joshua rose early in the morning. The priests picked up the Ark of Jehovah. Seven priests carrying seven trumpets of rams' horns before the Ark of Jehovah went on continually, and blew with the trumpets. The armed men went before them. The rear guard followed the Ark of Jehovah. The priests were blowing the trumpet. And the second day they went around the city once, and returned to the camp. They did this for six days. They rose early at dawn on the seventh day. They circled the city in the same manner. Only on that day they went around the city seven times. On the seventh time when the priest blew the trumpets, Joshua said to the people: Shout for Jehovah has given you the city. The city and everything in it will be destroyed. It belongs to Jehovah. Only Rahab the harlot and all who are with her in her house will live. Because she hid the messengers we sent. You people must stay away from anything devoted to destruction. You should not take things from the city. You will cause trouble for the camp of Israel is you take of the accursed things. All the silver, and gold, and vessels of brass and iron, are consecrated to Jehovah. They must come into the treasury of Jehovah. So the people shouted when the priests blew the trumpets. When the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, the wall fell down flat. The people went into the city, every man straight ahead. They captured the city.


2 Kings 20:11
Isaiah prayed to Jehovah and Jehovah made the shadow go back ten steps on the stairway set up by King Ahaz.
