This is my comfort in my affliction: That your word has revived me.
O Jehovah, I heard the report about you and I am afraid of your actions. O Jehovah, make it live in the midst of the years. In the midst of the years make it known! When you are angry remember mercy.
For the sake of your name, O Jehovah, revive me. In your righteousness bring me out of trouble.
Then we will never turn away from you. Give us life again, and we will call on your name.
I cleave to the dust. Revive me according to your word (as you promised).
Behold, I long for your precepts! Revive me through your righteousness.
Revive me according to your loving kindness, so I may keep the law of your mouth (you have spoken).

Afterward the children of Israel will return and seek Jehovah their God. David their king will come with trembling to Jehovah and to his goodness in the last days.
Come, and let us return to Jehovah. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us. He has wounded us but he will bandage us. He will revive us after two days. He will raise us up on the third day that we will live before him. Let us get to know Jehovah! Let us press on (run after) (follow) to get to know him. As surely as the sun rises he will appear. He will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.
