But Jesus said, "Let the little children alone, and stop preventing them from coming to me, for to such as these the kingdom of heaven belongs."
And people were bringing little children to Him for Him to touch them, but the disciples reproved them for it. When Jesus saw it, He was indignant, and said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and stop keeping them from it, for to such as these the kingdom of God belongs. Then He took the little children into His arms, and as He laid His hands upon them one by one, He tenderly blessed them.
Now some people were bringing even their babies to Him to have Him touch them, but the disciples, when they saw it, reproved them for it. I solemnly say to you, Whoever does not accept the kingdom of God as a little child does, will never get into it at all."
At that time Jesus said, "I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for concealing these matters from wise and learned men, and for revealing them to little children.
