Forget not to entertain strangers, for hereby some have entertained angels unawares.

Let not a widow be chosen under threescore years old, having been the wife of one husband, Well reported of for good works, if she hath brought up children, if she hath lodged strangers, if she hath washed the feet of the saints, if she hath relieved the afflicted, if she hath diligently followed every good work.
But a lover of strangers, a lover of good men, prudent, just, holy, temperate, Holding fast the faithful word,
Then said he also to him that had invited him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, nor thy kinsmen, nor thy rich neighbours, lest they also invite thee again, and a recompence be made thee. But when thou makest an entertainment, invite the poor, the disabled, the lame, the blind, And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee; but thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.

Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into the outer darkness: there shall be weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few chosen.
And one of them that sat at table with him, hearing these things, said to him, Happy is he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God. Then said he to him, A certain man made a great supper and invited many. And he sent his servants at supper time to say to them that were invited, Come, for all things are now ready.read more.
And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said to him, I have bought a field, I must needs go and see it: I pray thee, have me excused. And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused. And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come. So the servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house, being angry, said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the disabled, and the lame, and the blind. And the servant said, Sir, it is done as thou hast commanded; and yet there is room. And the lord said to the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. For I say to you, that none of those men who were invited, shall taste of my supper.
And he entered and passed through Jericho. And behold a man named Zaccheus, who was the chief of the publicans. Now this was a rich man. And he sought to see Jesus who he was, and could not for the croud, because he was little of stature.read more.
And running before, he climbed into a sycamore tree, to see him, for he was to pass by that way. And Jesus, when he came to the place, looking up saw him, and said to him, Zaccheus, make haste and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house. And he made haste and came down, and received him joyfully. And seeing it, they all murmured, saying, He is gone to be guest with a sinner. And Zaccheus stood and said to the Lord, Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor, and if I have taken any thing from any man wrongfully, I restore him fourfold. And Jesus said to him, To day is salvation come to this house; forasmuch as he also is a son of Abraham. For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
In my Father's house are many mansions; if not, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself, that where I am, ye may be also.
And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words; when ye go out of that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet.
And whosoever shall not receive you nor hear you, departing thence shake off the dust under your feet, for a testimony against them. Verily I say to you, it shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city.
And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.
Then shall he say also to them on his left-hand, Depart from me, ye cursed into the everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry, and ye gave me no meat; I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in; naked, and ye clothed me not; sick and in prison, and ye visited me not.read more.
Then shall they also answer him saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungry, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not micister to thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say to you, inasmuch as ye did it oot to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
