And when she was baptized and her family, she intreated us saying, Since ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house and abide there. And she constrained us.
And one of the Pharisees asked him to eat with him. And going into the Pharisee's house, he sat down to table.
And as he spake, a certain Pharisee asked him to dine with him.
Jesus saith to them, Come ye and dine. And none of the disciples presumed to ask him, Who art thou? Knowing that it was the Lord.
And he invited them in and lodged them. And the next day, Peter went away with them; and certain brethren from Joppa went with him.
And if any of the unbelievers invite you, and ye are disposed to go, eat whatever is set before you, asking no questions for conscience sake.
saying to them, When thou art invited by any man to a marriage-feast, sit not down in the highest place, lest a more honourable man than thou be invited by him, And he that invited thee and him come and say to thee, Give this man place. And then thou shalt begin with shame to take the lowest place. But when thou art invited, go and sit down in the lowest place, that when he who invited thee cometh, he may say, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have honour in the presence of them that sit at table with thee. Come to me, all ye that labour, and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest to your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Then shall the king say to them on his right-hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you, from the foundation of the world.
Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and sup with him, and he with me.
And let him that thirsteth, come: let him that willeth, take the water of life freely.
Then said he to him, A certain man made a great supper and invited many. And he sent his servants at supper time to say to them that were invited, Come, for all things are now ready.
And Jesus answering, spake to them again in parables, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like a king, who made a marriage-feast for his son. And sent forth his servants to call them that were invited, to the marriage; but they would not come.read more.

But they slighting it, went one to his farm, another to his merchandise. And the rest laying hold on his servants, treated them shamefully and slew them. Then saith he to his servants, The marriage-feast is prepared, but they who were invited were not worthy. Go ye therefore into the highways, and invite whomsoever ye find to the wedding-banquet. So those servants going out into the highways, gathered together all whomsoever they found, both bad and good. And the feast was abundantly supplied with guests. But the king coming in to see the guests, saw there a man who had not on a wedding-garment, And saith to him, Friend, how camest thou in hither, not having a wedding-garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into the outer darkness: there shall be weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few chosen.
Let us be glad and rejoice and give the glory to him; for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And it is given to her, to be arrayed in fine linen, white and clean; the fine linen is the righteousness of the saints. And he saith to me, Write: Happy are they who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith to me, These are the true sayings of God.
