And when she and her household had been immersed, she be sought us, saying: If you judge me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and make it your home. And she con strained us.

And one of the Pharisees invited him to eat with him. And he went into the house of the Pharisee, and reclined at table.

And as he spoke, a certain Pharisee asked him to dine with him. And he went in and reclined at table.

Jesus said to them: Come and breakfast. But no one of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? because they knew it was the Lord.

Then he called them in, and lodged them. On the morrow he arose, and went with them; and some of the brethren from Joppa accompanied him.

If any one of the unbelievers invites you to a feast, and you are disposed to go, eat any thing that is set before you, asking no questions for conscience sake.

When you are invited by any one to a wedding, do not recline in the first place, lest a more honorable man than you may have been invited by him; and he that invited you and him, come and say to you, Give place to this man; and then you shall begin with shame to take the last place. But when you are invited, go and recline in the last place, that when he that invited you shall come, he may say to you, Friend, go up higher. For every one that exalts himself shall Le humbled; and he that humbles himself shall be exalted. And both Jesus and his disciples were invited to the marriage.

When Jesus heard this, he said to him: One thing you yet lack; sell all that you have, and give to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.

Come to me, all you that are weary, and heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am meek and lowly in heart; and you shall find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my bur den is light.

Then the King will say to those on his right hand: Come, you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

Come, see a man who has told me all things that I ever did. Is not this the Christ?

Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any one hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

And the Spirit and the bride say, Come; and let him that hears, say, Come; and let him that is thirsty, come; -and let him that is willing, take the water of life freely.

And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man that had not put on a wedding-robe. And he said to him, Friend, how came you in hither without a wedding-robe? And he was silent. Then the king said to his servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and throw him into the darkness without: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few chosen.

Let us rejoice and be glad, and give glory to him: for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his wife has made herself ready. And to her was given that she should be clothed in fine linen, clean arid white; for the fine linen is the righteousness of the saints. And he said to me: Write, Blessed are they that are called to the marriage-supper of the Lamb. And he said to me: These are the true words of God.
