Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

In my distress I called [upon] Yahweh, and to my God I called. He heard my voice from his temple, and my cry for help [was] to his ears.
My bowels are in turmoil, and they are not still; days of misery come to confront me.
When my troubled thoughts were many {within me}, your consolations cheered my soul.
Then they cried out to Yahweh in their trouble. He delivered them from their distresses
I have said these [things] to you so that in me you may have peace. In the world you have affliction, but have courage! I have conquered the world."
We are afflicted in every [way], but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying around the death of Jesus in our body, in order that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.
From the end of the earth I call to you when my heart grows faint. You will lead me to a rock [that is] higher than I. For you have been my refuge, a strong tower from the enemy.
