For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
And the second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'
The second is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."
Now concerning love of the brethren you have no need to have any one write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love one another;
If you really fulfill the royal law, according to the scripture, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself," you are doing well.
Since you have purified your souls by obedience to the truth for a sincere love of the brethren, love one another earnestly from the heart.
Honor all people, love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the king.
And this is his commandment: that we should believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as he has commanded us.
And this commandment we have from him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.
And so by your knowledge this weak man is destroyed, the brother for whom Christ died. Thus, sinning against your brethren and wounding their conscience when it is weak, you sin against Christ. Therefore, if food causes my brother to fall, I will never eat meat again, so that I will not cause my brother to fall.
By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."
He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him.
We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love abides in death.
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
Above all, hold unfailing your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins.
