Jesus said to them, "Have you never read in the Scriptures: 'The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone; this was the Lord's doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes'?

Then he began to tell the people this parable: "A man planted a vineyard, leased it to vine-dressers, and went into another country for a long time. At harvest time he sent a servant to the tenants, that they would give him some of the fruit of the vineyard. But the tenants beat him and sent him away empty-handed. But he looked at them and said, "What then is this that is written: 'The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone'? Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder."

if we are being examined today for a good deed done to a cripple, as to how this man has been healed, be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by him this man stands before you healed.
