For his power divine has granted to us everything needful for life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue. By these he has granted his promises to us, precious and splendid; so that through them you may become partners of the divine nature, now that you have escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

The whole crowd were trying to touch him, because power emanated from him and cured them all.

One day he was teaching, and near to him were seated Pharisees and teachers of the Law, who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem; and the power of the Lord was with him to heal.

The last enemy that will be destroyed is Death.

Therefore, since the children are sharers in flesh and blood, he also similarly partook of the same, in order that through death he might render powerless him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And might deliver those who through fear of death had been subject to life-long bondage.
